Aqua Marooned! Game & Explore @ Delaware River Festival


Come enjoy a game of Aqua Marooned! at the Delaware River Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Wiggins Waterfront Park, sponsored by the Center for Aquatic Sciences. Aqua Marooned! is an environmental card game developed by Swim Pony specifically for the Center for Aquatic Sciences and other Alliance for Watershed Education Centers. The game encourages participants to creatively explore their natural surroundings using playful and engaging prompts. CAS staff and AWE facilitators will be on hand to introduce you to the game through a guided exploratory activity. Everyone goes home with a prize! All players will receive their very own free Aqua Marooned! deck along with Center for Aquatic Sciences and Lenni-Lenape Expansion Packs! The Delaware River Festival is a celebration of the Delaware River along the waterfronts of Philadelphia and Camden. This annual event brings people together for a day of family fun, educational activities, water-centered learning and free ferry rides between Wiggins Park and Penn’s Landing all day! No advance tickets are needed to attend. Wristbands are required to ride the RiverLink Ferry and enter the Independence Seaport Museum. You can sign up for a free wristband at the Information Table in Philadelphia or Camden during event hours.
