Come enjoy a game of Aqua Marooned! and a family-friendly film at Bartram’s Garden on Friday, June 24.

Aqua Marooned! is an environmental card game developed by Swim Pony specifically for Bartram’s Garden and other Alliance for Watershed Education Centers. The game encourages participants to creatively explore their natural surroundings using playful and engaging prompts. Members from the Swim Pony team will be on hand to introduce you to the game through a guided exploratory activity.

Everyone goes home with a prize! All players will receive their very own free Aqua Marooned! deck along with Bartram’s and Lenni-Lenape Expansion Packs!

Participants will have the opportunity to experience “TrailOff”, an audio storytelling app that puts YOU in the center of the drama! Also created by Swim Pony and the PA Environmental Council (PEC), this FREE app aims to diversify the stories we imagine when we think about nature.

The evening will include a screening of sci-fi classic film Fifth Element from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Bring your own picnic blankets, bug spray, and snacks. There will be plenty of popcorn, lemonade, and water to share!

FREE! All ages are welcome. No registration required. All local, state, and federal guidelines for COVID-19 will be followed.

Visitors are encouraged to enter and park at the Garden’s 56th Street entrance and parking lot. Accessible by the SEPTA trolley line #36
