Join Lenapehoking~Watershed lead artist Sarah Kavage and local writer/organizer Swati Arun for a celebration of all-things-braiding at John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove!

Braiding and weaving have been vital elements in the larger Lenapehoking~Watershed project, bringing many different people from many different communities into contact with nature, art and the environmental centers that host these encounters. This event celebrates this interweaving of people and place.

Guests will be invited to enjoy interactive hair braiding activities, bracelet making, bread braiding, and grass weaving workshops with Sarah and her assistants. Music will be provided by Philly-based DJ Rana Ransom. Light refreshments available.

Location & Accessibility: The John James Audubon Center just north of Valley Forge National Historical Park. It is ADA accessible and has plenty of parking for guests. It is also a 20-minute walk from the Egypt Road stop of the #99 SEPTA bus that runs from King of Prussia Mall.
