How can nature help Black women heal from the traumas that are unique to their experience? To explore this question, the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is partnering with Hike+Heal, a hiking group in Philadelphia dedicated to creating a community of women who want to prioritize their self-care. Join a small group and hike trails towards the Schuylkill Center’s art installation and sanctuary, Al Mudhif.  The walk will be followed by a tea ceremony, meditative stretching and breathing exercises, inviting you to harness the power of nature to heal traumas that are unique to the Black experience.

This hike is about one mile long on unpaved trails.

Space is limited; registration is required. $10/person or $5/person for SCEE members. Free to ages 3 and under.
