Nature's Long Memory at the Camden County Community Block Party

  • Camden County Historical Society 1900 Park Boulevard Camden, NJ, 08103 United States (map)

Join the Camden Crew, a  group of young Camden artists (Adriana Amador-Chacon, Breiner “Zombie” Garcia, Monica Perez-Reyes, Priscilla Rios) at the annual Community Block Party at the Camden County Historical Society. The Crew will be hosting an interactive program focusing on our relationship to nature, care, and each other. Utilizing Nature’s Long Memory, Sarah Kavage’s satellite pop-up sculpture as a stage, the Camden Crew will invite you to contemplate questions such as What does nature mean to you? How can we be more connected to nature and to each other? With your permission, your thoughts will be recorded on video and shared via Lenapehoking~Watershed social media accounts.

Stay and enjoy a variety of food and vendors.

This program is organized in partnership with the Parkside Business and Community in Partnership (PBCIP) and the North Jersey Conservation Foundation (NJCF).

Street parking is available. The Community Block Party will encompass the entire 1900 block of Park Blvd.
