About
Meadows are healing places that uptake pollution, build soil, and provide habitat. They are beautiful, humble, and easy to overlook. This artwork is about uncovering their beauty and magic, and revealing unseen, often feminine labor. It is largely improvised, a moment by moment response to the specific conditions. The installation will change and grow with the seasons.
You are welcome to explore the pathways and seating areas in the installation!
Accessibility & Location
The installation can be found in the meadow that is directly downhill from the visitor’s center and Audubon Museum. The pathway to the installation is down a slope that is kept mowed but is unpaved. Some of the pathways through the installation may be too narrow, or may create hazards for people using mobility devices or those who are visually impaired.
