About
Nature’s Long Memory is a temporary pop-up memorial that you'll be able to find in and around Camden NJ in the summer of 2021. We have all been through a lot over the last year and artist Sarah Kavage envisioned this sculpture as a shared devotional or memorial space with shelves where you can place small objects, flowers, notes, photographs, etc. as you contemplate your relationships to nature, water, friends, family, and community. Made of locally harvested Phragmites reed, the sculpture will be in place for a week or two at a time, after which it will be documented and disassembled.
