Tina Plokarz is the Director of Environmental Art at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (SCEE). Her experience ranges from developing and implementing cabinet displays and public conferences to large-scale public art commissions of visual and performance art. She is interested in creating interactive, immersive experiences that challenge our understandings of identity, participation and perception. 

Through her role at the Schuylkill Center, Plokarz administers Lenapehoking~Watershed's lead funding by the William Penn Foundation, closely assisting and guiding project director Teresa Jaynes. She also leads the Alliance for Watershed Education's Art Work Group of arts professionals who advise the L~W initiative. 

She has worked with a variety of artists and performers, including Rob Carter (2021), Hironaka/Suib (2019), JAK (2018), Anike Joyce Sadiq (2018), Ana Vizcarra Rankin (2017), Emma Sulkowicz (2017), Jordan Griska (2016), and Hamish Fulton (2015). She has previously held positions at various international museums and non-profit organizations, such as Independence Seaport Museum (Philadelphia), Philadelphia Contemporary (Philadelphia), KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), Villa Merkel (Esslingen), Hamburger Bahnhof (Berlin) and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (Berlin). She received a double major in Art History and Theater Studies from the Free University Berlin.
